Affiliate disclosure

Some outbound links on result pages are affiliate links, disclosed on the page where they appear. If you buy something after clicking one, this site may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That commission funds the tools.

Affiliate status never changes a measurement. Results come from the checks themselves; where a page makes a performance claim about a product category, it cites an external benchmark and links the source. Category pointers (SSL vendors, CDNs, registrars) are listed as options, not ranked.

All affiliate links carry rel="sponsored nofollow" markup, per search-engine guidelines.

What the tools process

When you run a check, the URL or domain you enter is sent to this site's server, which probes the target (or, for speed tests, passes the URL to the Google PageSpeed Insights API) and returns the result to your browser. Results are not stored — every check is request in, result out.

Only test public sites you own or are authorized to check. The probes are ordinary HTTP, DNS, and TLS requests — the same things a browser does when visiting a page.

Data collection

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which tools are used and which links are clicked (page views, tool runs, outbound and affiliate link clicks). Analytics cookies are set only if you accept them in the consent bar; if you decline (or ignore it), Google Analytics receives only cookieless, aggregate pings with no persistent identifier. Data is processed by Google per its privacy policy. No advertising trackers run here.

Standard web-server logs (IP address, requested page, timestamp) are kept briefly for security and abuse prevention, as on virtually every website (this includes the URL you test, briefly, in ordinary server logs).

Questions about this policy can be sent via the contact details on the domain's WHOIS record.
